What is the White Plains Youth Association?
The White Plains Youth Association (WPYA) is a 501C Non-Profit organization dedicated to providing sports leagues to the feeder communities of North Surry High School. We provide low-cost participation in Basketball, Baseball, Softball, and Football.
What is the cost for your leagues?
On average, most registrations are $100+ per child. It may vary across sports.
Where are we located?
We are located at 994 Old US 601 at the old site for the original White Plains Elementary
Are coaches background checked?
Yes, all coaches have to submit to a background check before they are able to coach.
What are the sign-up registration fees used for?
First and foremost, some registration fees are used in general upkeep and administration of the facilities. We also purchase uniforms and liability insurance.
Baseball:
A jersey and hat are provided.
Softball:
A jersey are provided
Basketball:
A jersey is provided.
Football:
Helmets, pads, jerseys, and pants are provided
